Onboarding
Get up and running with Reys in just a few steps.
Create your account
Sign up at app.reys.ai by entering your name, email, and a password — or continue with your Google account. No email verification is required; you’ll be taken directly into the onboarding flow.
The onboarding steps
After signing up, Reys walks you through three steps before you reach your dashboard.
Step 1 — Email Setup
Configure the email addresses you want to forward pitch decks from. When you forward an email from one of these addresses to your Reys inbox, it will appear automatically as a deal.
You can add up to two forwarding addresses. Your own email address is pre-filled as a starting point, but you can change or add to it.
Your Reys inbox address is shown on this screen — keep it handy, as you’ll forward pitch decks to it later.
Step 2 — About You
Tell Reys about your investment focus so it can tailor your experience. You’ll select:
- Investor type — such as Venture Capitalist, Private Equity, Family Office, Corporate VC, and others
- Asset classes — such as Venture Capital, Growth Equity, Private Equity, and others
- Primary goals — a short description of what you’re looking to accomplish with Reys
Step 3 — Review
Review everything you’ve entered. Once you confirm, your account is fully set up and you’ll land on your dashboard.
Your personal workspace
Every Reys account comes with a personal workspace created automatically at signup. This is a private space where your deals, mandates, and settings live by default. If you join or create an organization, you can switch between your personal workspace and the organization using the switcher in the sidebar.
Joining an organization
If a colleague has already set up a team on Reys, they can send you an invitation by email. Click the link in that email to accept the invite and join the organization. You don’t need to repeat the onboarding flow — you’ll go straight to the organization’s dashboard.
For more on setting up a team, see the Organizations guide.
