Organizations
Collaborate with your team by bringing them into a shared organization on Reys.
What is an organization?
An organization is a shared workspace where your team works together on deals and mandates. Everything inside an organization — deals, mandates, match results, and notifications — is visible to all members of that organization.
Every user also has a personal workspace that is created automatically when they sign up. Your personal workspace is private to you and works exactly like an organization, except it has no members and no organization settings.
Switching between workspaces
The sidebar shows which workspace you’re currently in. Click the workspace name to open the organization switcher, where you can jump between your personal workspace and any organizations you belong to.
Creating an organization
To create a new organization, open the organization switcher in the sidebar and select Create organization. Give it a name and confirm. You’ll be the admin of the new organization.
Inviting members
Organization admins can invite colleagues from Org Settings → Members. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and send the invitation. They’ll receive an email with a link to join.
Invitations expire after a set period. If a pending invite expires before it’s accepted, an admin can resend it from the Members tab.
Accepting an invitation
When you receive an invitation email, click the link inside it. If you already have a Reys account, you’ll be added to the organization immediately. If not, you’ll be prompted to create an account first and will then join automatically.
Roles
Every member of an organization has one of two roles:

|---|---|
| Admin | Everything — manage members, configure org settings, set up forwarding emails, and delete the organization |
| Member | Access deals, mandates, and their own personal settings; cannot access org settings |
An organization must always have at least one admin. You cannot remove or demote the last admin.
Organization settings
Admins can manage their organization under Org Settings in the sidebar. This page has four sections:
General
Change the display name of the organization.
Members
View all current members and pending invitations. From here, admins can:
- Invite new members by email
- Resend or revoke pending invitations
- Remove existing members from the organization
Forwarding Emails
Configure the email addresses associated with this organization. Pitch decks forwarded to your Reys inbox from one of these addresses will be routed to this organization’s deal inbox.
You can add multiple forwarding addresses for different team members or shared inboxes.
Danger Zone
Permanently delete the organization. This removes all data associated with it — deals, mandates, match results, notifications, and member records. This action cannot be undone, and you’ll be asked to type the organization name to confirm.
How data is scoped
Each organization has its own isolated set of data. When you switch organizations, you see only the deals, mandates, and notifications that belong to that organization. Your personal settings (profile, investor preferences, personal forwarding addresses) follow you across all workspaces.
